Lead Pipe Inspection Toronto
Not sure if your home has lead pipes? We inspect your service line, test your water, and give you a straight answer before any work begins.
Before you spend anything on a lead pipe, you need to know whether you actually have one. The only way to know for certain is a physical inspection — not a mail-in water test, not a neighbourhood estimate. An inspector looking at the pipe at your meter.
We provide free service line inspections across the GTA. We identify the pipe material, assess its condition, document our findings in writing, and give you a straight answer. If replacement is warranted, we'll include a fixed-price quote. If it's not, we'll tell you that too — and you owe us nothing.

How It Works
We come to you
One of our licensed plumbers visits your property at a scheduled time. The inspection is focused on the service line entry at your water meter — inside your basement or mechanical room.
Material confirmation
Lead is identified by its dull grey colour, soft surface (a key scratches it to a bright silver), and lack of magnetic response. Copper is orange-brown. Galvanized steel is grey and magnetic. Plastic is smooth and may be grey, white, or blue.
Written report
You receive a written record of what we found, including photos. If lead is confirmed, we include a fixed-price replacement quote. If the pipe is not lead, the report says so clearly.
Water testing referral
If you want lab confirmation of your water lead level, we'll point you to accredited testing labs and explain how to collect a proper first-draw sample. A one-time water test typically costs $30–$60 through an accredited Ontario lab.
An inspection takes 30 minutes and costs you nothing. If you have lead pipes, you'll know exactly what needs to be done and what it will cost. If you don't, you'll have written documentation of a clean bill of health. Call us and we'll get you on the schedule. Toronto Lead Pipe Solutions is ready to help.
